Brand new day (in New Jersey)

We came home tonight from seeing Toxic Avenger: The Musical, basking in the afterglow.

Tess and I went to see the off-Broadway run of the musical adaptation of one of the craziest movies ever. It was amazing, with singing and dancing and what was probably the best time I’ve had at “the thee-AAATRE!” ever.  With a surprisingly small cast of only 5, and three of them playing about a dozen different roles, there was limb-tearing and blood and splurting and some really good singing.

If you live in New York and have a chance to see it, go.  If you got to see it in New Jersey (which this play is definitely a love letter to) and saw it when it first began, you rule.  A seriously good time was had, a time of which you should be insanely jealous.
