Daryl Cagle of MSNBC is one of several cartoonists, political or otherwise, who has had issues with getting iPhone and iPad apps approved because of “offensive content” or something similar.  You can check out some of Cagle’s work from the app, which is Tiger Woods-oriented (please keep your boos until the end of the presentation) over at

I don’t use any Apple products so I can’t really comment directly on the censorship/availability of the app, and I hate celeb gossip bullshit with the fury of a thousand and one exploding suns, but I will say that for all the talk about say, the iPad being the future of reading comics through apps that can translate single issues or whatever onto that fancy-schmancy touchscreen…Apple could just as easily arbitrarily decide that your comics or app is too controversial or whatever and cancel your shit like that.
