Beta Ray Bill is hella boss

Following Nate Cosby and Skottie Young on Twitter recently, talking about all-ages comics and the difficulties about that sort of book, got me thinking about the state of all-ages comics, and whether or not comics that aren’t aimed exclusively at an 8+ audience will ever be as popular.

I’m gonna be honest, some of the books and comics I read as a teenager were not meant to be read by a 15-year old. At the same time though, I do realize the importance of having options for other young’ns or their parents who are looking for good comics that aren’t ridiculous, but at the same time aren’t uber-serious bloodbaths of angst, misogyny, sex, and political destruction.

Thoughts?
